Company
Our name
In Scandinavia a HOLM or HOLMEN means ~ (an islet or island).
Across greater Copenhagen several islands are named HOLM(EN) "something".
Cultural ways
Copenhagen has its own personality.
Especially in spring and summer we all seek outside, (after a dark winter) where a special buzz, vibe and excitement arrives.
We socialise around the harbour and inner city canals, where you can swim, rent a boat, a kayak, find a sauna, do a cold plunge etc. and you can easily navigate more of the city by bike, and safely roam around via the designated paths and bridges. The islands and harbour is packed with cafes, food stalls, parks and has a great energy outdoors.
Danish design is recognised internationally and our biggest design icons are present in Copenhagen, and mix up with all the new pulsating creative ideas we can explore around us.
As a brand we feel our name HOLMEN Copenhagen is the ideal representation for our Danish/Copenhagen brand identity - which includes links to our heritage, present & filled with creativity.
